Joey Vargas Brownlee is a junior at USC from Newport Beach, CA and growing up in Quebrada Ganado, Costa Rica. He is majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Sports Media & Industries. His passion for sports and the business off the field lead to a position with USC Football as a Recruiting & Operations intern and the opportunity to be an inaugural member of the Rose Bowl Game mentor program. Around campus, Joey is also the President of the Latino Business Students Association, an active member of the Sports Business Association, a participant in Marshall’s Coury Leadership program, and a producer of podcasts through Annenberg Media. This past summer, Joey worked as a Risk and Financial Advisory intern with Deloitte, based out of Orange County. Joey joined Exposition in the summer of 2022 and is continuing to combine his passions for sports and USC with his academic background to lead the team’s financial investments, fundraising, and more as the organization grows.
